The 19th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) summit will be held in Pakistan on November (8-10). The ongoing Saarc Foreign Minister level meeting in Pokhara, Nepal, on Thursday finalised the date though the summit venue was chosen as Pakistan before.

Likewise, the dispute over housing Saarc Environment and Disaster Management Center, a new body to look into the environment and disaster related issues in the region, has also been resolved.

Earlier, Indian and Pakistan had been laying claims to host the centre.

The centre will be split into two centres, according to the agreement reached in Pokhara, and India will be housing Disaster Management Centre, while Pakistan will be hosting Environment and Energy Centre.

The decision were announced at a press conference after the meeting.
