As per the recommendation of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has urged CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli to sack two of his party ministers.
The CIAA has handed two separate letters to PM Koirala urging him to take action against Energy Minister Radha Gyawali and Youth and Sports Minister Purushottam Poudel. “If the UML fails to take action, I will be compelled to sack them on corruption charges as per CIAA instructions,” PM’s press coordinator Prakash Adhikari quoted the PM as saying.
Oli, in response, agreed to discuss the matter further with the prime minister.
