Kripasur Sherpa new Tourism Minister

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Friday appointed CPN-UML lawmaker Kripasur Sherpa as the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
The CPN-UML recommended Sherpa for the post after Minister Deepak Chandra Amatya resigned from the post on Thursday.
Sherpa took the oath of office and secrecy at the President's Office in Sheetal Niwas, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, this afternoon, according to PM Koirala’s Press Coordinator, Prakash Adhikari.
Leader Sherpa was elected to the Constituent Assembly from Bhojpur Constituency-1. He is the third minister to serve in the Tourism Ministry under PM Koirala.
Previous ministers Bhim Acharya was sacked from the post while Amatya resigned under pressure from his party.
