Organising a news conference in Lalitpur on Wednesday, CG Chairman Binod Kumar Chaudhary said that the houses would be constructed with the next six months and handed over to the victims.

Chaudhary further said that the group has initiated works with a target to construct 9,000 more houses in collaboration with national and foreign donor agencies as well as other organisations.

He said the group would also reconstruct 100 damaged community schools. Stating that the group has allocated Rs 250 million for the support of quake victims, the CG Chairman said that they have distributed relief materials worth around Rs 20 million so far.

Each of the houses will cost Rs 50,000 to Rs 100,000, it is learnt. RSS
