In a news conference organised at Biratnagar on Tuesday, Koirala expressed belief that the party president Sushil Koirala would again file his candidacy to the post.

She added that she would file candidacy for the post of treasurer, general secretary or vice-president.

Stating that the NC and CPN (UML) were active to promulgate the new constitution by forging consensus as soon as possible, leader Koirala said the Prime Minister himself and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Oli, among other leaders, have been taking initiatives for the same.

She said conspiracies are hatched to make the incumbent government a failure by obstructing promulgation of new constitution and expressed her firm belief that the Sushil Koirala-led government would promulgate it.

Leader Koirala also suggested the UCPN (Maoist) to be flexible to promulgate the new constitution through consensus. RSS
