Chari's elder brother Dhruva Adhikari moved the apex court today mentioning that his brother's murder was extra judicial and that the Home Ministry and Police administration refused to investigate his brother's murder.
Police had earlier refused to register a complaint by the family members of Chari.
Gangster Chari was gunned down at Bhimdhunga, seven kilometres from Sitapaila, in the Capital on August 6.
Kathmandu Police Chief Uttam Kumar Karki, Crime Investigation Division chief Pushkar Karki, DSP Mira Chaudhari, Inspector Kumud Dhungel and Arpan Koirala, former beau of Chari's girlfriend Khusbu Oli have been named as the defendants in the writ.
