The Home Ministry on Friday transferred police chief at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), DIG Yadav Adhikari, to Nepal Police Headquarters in Naxal, Kathmandu.

Bijay Lal Kayastha of Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Hanumandhoka, has been transferred to TIA.

Expressing his dissatisfaction over recent AIG promotion, Adhikari had been taking leave from his duties.

SSP Ramesh Phuyal deployed at the TIA, has also been called back at the headquarters.
