Renowned Nepali litterateur Krishna Prasad Parajuli passed away at Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Thursday night. He was 78.
Parajuli was famous for Nepali language and his works for children. He had long been suffering from diabetes and kidney problem.
'Ramro Rachana', 'Mitho Nepali', 'Ramaila Naani', 'Pandhra Tara Ra Nepali Sahitya' and 'Nepali Lokgeet ko Aalok' are among his best known works.
Parajuli was honoured with various prizes and awards including the Jagadambashree, Rastriya Pratibha, Baalhitkari,among other dozen awards, for his contribution in the field of litterateur.
His last rites were performed in Pashupati Aaryaghat last night itself.
He is survived by wife, three daughters and two sons.
