Three dead, two injured in Salyan minibus crash
The vehicle en route to Dang from Rukum West fell 200 metres off the road, police say.

Three people died and two were seriously injured in a minibus accident in Salyan on Sunday morning.
The minibus was travelling to Dang from Rukum West when it crashed near Chorkhola in ward 3 of Kapurkot Rural Municipality along the Rapti Highway. A woman and two men died at the scene, while two others were seriously injured.
According to Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, information officer at District Police Office, Salyan, the deceased are 27-year-old Prakash KC, Shashidhar KC, and 68-year-old Pavi KC. The addresses of the deceased are yet to be known, police said.
The injured, 47-year-old Khagendra KC and 36-year-old Bina KC of ward 5 in Banphikot Rural Municipality received initial treatment at Tulsipur Provincial Hospital before being referred to Nepalgunj for further care.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. The minibus reportedly fell 200 metres off the road. Police said five people were on board, and an investigation is ongoing.
