Nepal reports 54 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 986,495 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 1,144.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported 42 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 999,656.
Similarly, 12 people tested positive in a total of 2,100 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,934,111 PCR and 1,415,792 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,729 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,017 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 986,495 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 76 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,144.
In the past 24 hours, eight new infections were reported in Province 1, one in Madhes Province, 20 in Bagmati, five in Gandaki, one in Lumbini and seven in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Monday reported 39 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 40 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Sunday and 29 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Saturday.
