Nepal reports 53 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 986,419 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 1,178.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 39 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 999,614.
Similarly, 14 people tested positive in a total of 1,799 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,932,382 PCR and 1,413,692 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 825 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,017 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 986,419 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 84 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,178.
In the past 24 hours, one new infection was reported in Province 1, two in Madhes Province, 29 in Bagmati, four in Gandaki, one in Lumbini and two in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Sunday reported 40 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 29 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were recorded on Saturday and 53 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday.
