Nepal reports 227 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 983,949 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 2,473.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported 137 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 998,432.
Similarly, 90 people tested positive in a total of 2,883 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,903,641 PCR and 1,375,245 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,518 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,010 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 983,949 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 168 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 2,473.
In the past 24 hours, three new infections were reported in Province 1, seven in Madhesh Province, 89 in Bagmati, 20 in Gandaki, 10 in Lumbini, two in Karnali and six in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 128 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 177 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and 122 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
