Nepal reports 230 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 983,781 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 2,505.Post Report
Nepal on Wednesday reported 128 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 998,295.
Similarly, 102 people tested positive in a total of 1,880 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,902,123 PCR and 1,372,362 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,956 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported two Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,009 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 983,781 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 78 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 2,505.
In the past 24 hours, eight new infections were reported in Province 1, two in Madhesh Province, 90 in Bagmati, 21 in Gandaki, three in Lumbini, two in Karnali and two in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 177 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 122 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday and 116 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were reported on Sunday.
