Nepal reports 221 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 983,539 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 2,528.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 122 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 997,990.
Similarly, 99 people tested positive in a total of 2,539 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,898,186 PCR and 1,367,873 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,756 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,007 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 983,539 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 206 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 2,444.
In the past 24 hours, 12 new infections were reported in Province 1, seven in Madhesh Province, 73 in Bagmati, nine in Gandaki, 14 in Lumbini, one in Karnali and six in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Sunday reported 116 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 92 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were recorded on Saturday and 134 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and three deaths were reported on Friday.
