Nepal reports 269 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 982,366 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 3,158.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported 180 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 997,526.
Similarly, 89 people tested positive in a total of 1,825 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,891,935 PCR and 1,360,210 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,732 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,002 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 982,366 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 215 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,158.
In the past 24 hours, 12 new infections were reported in Province 1, five in Madhesh Province, 132 in Bagmati, 16 in Gandaki, eight in Lumbini, three in Karnali and five in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 224 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death. Similarly, 143 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and 145 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
