Nepal reports 226 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 981,744 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 3,235.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 145 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 996,979.
Similarly, 81 people tested positive in a total of 2,486 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,886,260 PCR and 1,354,487 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,525 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,000 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 981,744 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 223 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,235.
In the past 24 hours, 18 new infections were reported in Province 1, six in Madhesh Province, 97 in Bagmati, nine in Gandaki, 10 in Lumbini, one in Karnali and four in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Sunday reported 164 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death. Similarly, 65 PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday and 163 PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death was reported on Friday.
