Nepal reports 324 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 980,663 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 3,943.Post Report
Nepal on Friday reported 163 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 996,605.
Similarly, 163 people tested positive in a total of 1,842 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Friday, 5,882,028 PCR and 1,348,036 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,673 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,999 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 980,663 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 418 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,943.
In the past 24 hours, seven new infections were reported in Province 1, four in Madhes Province, 125 in Bagmati, 12 in Gandaki, five in Lumbini and 10 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Thursday reported 211 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and three deaths. Similarly, 242 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were recorded on Wednesday and 343 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Tuesday.
