Nepal reports 271 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 982,151 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 3,194.Post Report
Nepal on Wednesday reported 224 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 997,346.
Similarly, 47 people tested positive in a total of 1,435 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,890,203 PCR and 1,358,385 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,485 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,001 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 982,151 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 175 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,194.
In the past 24 hours, 22 new infections were reported in Province 1, 10 in Madhesh Province, 167 in Bagmati, 14 in Gandaki, six in Lumbini and five in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 143 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 145 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday and 164 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Sunday.
