Nepal reports 263 new Covid-19 cases
Two new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 5,434.Post Report
Nepal on Saturday reported 162 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 992,727.
Similarly, 101 people tested positive in a total of 1,766 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Saturday, 5,851,165 PCR and 1,314,458 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,399 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported two Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,986 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 975,307 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 501 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 5,434.
In the past 24 hours, nine new infections were reported in Province 1, six in Madhes Province, 101 in Bagmati, 13 in Gandaki, 20 in Lumbini, 1 in Karnali and 12 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Friday reported 419 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and three deaths. Similarly, 465 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were recorded on Thursday and 496 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Wednesday.
