Nepal reports 760 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Thursday reported 494 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 988,821.
Similarly, 266 people tested positive in a total of 3,337 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,828,708 PCR and 1,291,186 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,589 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,969 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 971,250 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 324 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 5,602.
In the past 24 hours, 58 new infections were reported in Province 1, four in Madhes Province, 381 in Bagmati, 31 in Gandaki, seven in Lumbini, four in Karnali and nine in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 509 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 632 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were recorded on Monday and 496 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Sunday.
