Nepal reports 895 new Covid-19 cases
One new death was reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 4,934.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 632 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 987,228.
Similarly, 263 people tested positive in a total of 2,224 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,820,266 PCR and 1,282,285 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,685 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,968 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 970,326 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 264 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 4,934.
In the past 24 hours, 41 new infections were reported in Province 1, 15 in Madhes Province, 489 in Bagmati, 35 in Gandaki, 24 in Lumbini, four in Karnali and 24 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Sunday reported 496 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death. Similarly, 292 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were reported on Saturday and 391 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday.
