Nepal reports 438 new Covid-19 cases
Number of active cases stands at 4,369.Post Report
Nepal on Saturday reported 292 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 986,100.
Similarly, 146 people tested positive in a total of 1,920 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Saturday, 5,813,930 PCR and 1,276,866 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,779 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported two Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,966 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 969,765 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 277 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 4,369.
In the past 24 hours, 23 new infections were reported in Province 1, 4 in Madhes Province, 226 in Bagmati, 17 in Gandaki, 13 in Lumbini, two in Karnali and seven in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Friday reported 391 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 524 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases recorded on Thursday and 418 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Wednesday.
