Nepal reports 564 new Covid-19 cases
One new death was reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 3,929.Post Report
Nepal on Wednesday reported 418 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 984,893.
Similarly, 146 people tested positive in a total of 1,676 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,807,136 PCR and 1,270,654 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,778 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,960 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 969,004 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 202 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,929.
In the past 24 hours, 55 new infections were reported in Province 1, seven in Madhes Province, 299 in Bagmati, 24 in Gandaki, 19 in Lumbini, four in Karnali and 10 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 400 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 453 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were recorded on Monday and 303 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were reported on Sunday.
