Nepal reports 568 new Covid-19 cases
One new death was reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 3,534.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 453 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 984,075.
Similarly, 115 people tested positive in a total of 1,716 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,802,143 PCR and 1,266,138 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,084 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,957 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 968,584 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 95 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,534.
In the past 24 hours, 69 new infections were reported in Province 1, nine in Madhes Province, 311 in Bagmati, 17 in Gandaki, 31 in Lumbini, one in Karnali and 15 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Sunday reported 303 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 216 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Saturday and 384 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday.
