Nepal reports 347 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Sunday reported 303 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 983,622.
The country reported two Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,956 since the pandemic began.
Similarly, 44 people tested positive in a total of 1,528 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,799,059 PCR and 1,264,422 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,360 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
According to the ministry, 968,489 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 95 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,177.
In the past 24 hours, 32 new infections were reported in Province 1, four in Madhes Province, 226 in Bagmati, 30 in Gandaki, four in Lumbini, three in Karnali and four in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Saturday reported 216 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 384 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday and 317 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday.
