Nepal reports 577 new Covid-19 cases
Two new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 4,356.Post Report
Nepal on Friday reported 391 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 985,808.
Similarly, 186 people tested positive in a total of 1,808 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Friday, 5,812,151 PCR and 1,274,946 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,474 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported two Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,964 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 969,488 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 269 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 4,356.
In the past 24 hours, 38 new infections were reported in Province 1, 13 in Madhes Province, 302 in Bagmati, 14 in Gandaki, 15 in Lumbini, five in Karnali and four in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Thursday reported 524 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 418 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were recorded on Wednesday and 400 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Tuesday.
