Nepal reports 710 new Covid-19 cases
Two new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 4,236.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported 524 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 969,219.
Similarly, 186 people tested positive in a total of 2,484 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,809,677 PCR and 1,273,138 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,541 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported two Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,962 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 969,219 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 215 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 4,236.
In the past 24 hours, 50 new infections were reported in Province 1, 10 in Madhes Province, 353 in Bagmati, 69 in Gandaki, 28 in Lumbini, one in Karnali and 13 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 418 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 400 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were recorded on Tuesday and 453 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were reported on Monday.
