Nepal reports 915 new Covid-19 cases
Number of active cases stands at 5,433.Post Report
Nepal on Wednesday reported 590 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 988,327.
Similarly, 325 people tested positive in a total of 2,911 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,826,119 PCR and 1,287,849 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,091 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,968 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 970,926 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 301 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 5,433.
In the past 24 hours, 48 new infections were reported in Province 1, 23 in Madhes Province, 444 in Bagmati, 25 in Gandaki, 27 in Lumbini, two in Karnali and 21 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 509 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 632 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were recorded on Monday and 496 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Sunday.
