Nepal reports six new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Wednesday reported six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,028.
All 617 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Wednesday, 5,677,107 PCR and 1,183,458 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,856 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,929 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; eight of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 147.
In the past 24 hours, all six new infections were reported in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday and seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday.
