Nepal reports two new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Saturday reported two new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,991.
All 127 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Saturday, 5,667,049 PCR and 1,180,874 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,127 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,889 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 16 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 150.
In the past 24 hours, all two new infections were reported in Bagmati.
Nepal on Friday reported seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, four new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday and 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Wednesday.
