Nepal reports seven new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Friday reported seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,989.
All 289 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Friday, 5,665,922 PCR and 1,180,747 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,148 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,873 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 16 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 164.
In the past 24 hours, five new infections were reported in Bagmati, and one each in Gandaki and Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Thursday reported four new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 21 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Wednesday and 13 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Tuesday.
