Nepal reports four new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,857 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 173.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported four new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,982.
All 354 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Thursday, 5,664,774 PCR and 1,180,458 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,463 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,857 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 18 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 173.
In the past 24 hours, three new infections were reported in Bagmati and one in Province 1.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 21 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 13 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Tuesday and eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were confirmed on Monday.
