Nepal logs 10 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,558 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 261.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,770.
Similarly, two people tested positive in a total of 1,162 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,624,458 PCR and 1,162,400 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 4,064 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,558 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 18 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 261.
Kathmandu Valley recorded seven new infections in the last 24 hours. Of them, four were confirmed in Kathmandu, two in Lalitpur and one in Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, seven new infections were recorded in Bagmati and one in Gandaki.
Nepal on Monday reported 19 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Sunday and 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
