Nepal logs 18 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,498 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 283.Post Report
Nepal on Saturday reported 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,732.
All 1,256 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Saturday, 5,613,608 PCR and 1,158,994 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,691 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,498 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 17 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 283.
Kathmandu Valley recorded two new infections in the last 24 hours. All of them were confirmed in Kathmandu.
In the past 24 hours, four new infections were recorded in Bagmati, six in Gandaki, one each in Province 1 and Sudurpaschim and three each in Madhesh and Lumbini.
Nepal on Friday reported nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Thursday and nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Wednesday.
