Nepal logs 13 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,523 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 269.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,743.
Similarly, 2 people tested positive in a total of 1,111 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,616,752 PCR and 1,160,105 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,144 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,523 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 17 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 269.
Kathmandu Valley recorded seven new infections in the last 24 hours. All of them were confirmed in Kathmandu.
In the past 24 hours, eight new infections were recorded in Bagmati, 1 in Gandaki and two in Province 1.
Nepal on Saturday reported eighteen new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday and 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday.
