Three injured as tipper hits bus in Pokhara

Three people were injured when a tipper collided with a bus in Pokhara Metropolitan City-25 on Thursday morning.
The accident took place around 8:15am when the bus, heading to Myagdi from Pokhara, was picking up passengers and was hit by a tipper travelling in the same direction, police said.
According to the District Police Office, Kaski, 84-year-old Harkalal Chhantyal of Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-5 in Myagdi was injured while boarding the bus. The tipper driver, 31-year-old Manoj Katuwal of Sindhupalchok, and 28-year-old Buddha Ghale of Nuwakot, who was travelling in the tipper, were also injured.
Chhantyal, who sustained head injuries, was taken to Fishtail Hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable. Katuwal and Ghale, who suffered injuries to their hands and legs, are receiving treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital, and their condition is said to be out of danger.
