Two missing after landslide buried cattle shed
A team of police and locals have been searching for missing ones, police say.Prakash Baral
Two men have gone missing after a landslide buried a cattle shed of Kul Prasad Padhya in Phalewas Municipality-1, Parbat.
According to the police, 40-year-old Jhalak Prasad Sharma and 33-year-old Tulsi Prasad Sharma went missing when they tried to rescue the cattle. Tulsi Prasad, who used to stay at Padhya’s home, is from Aandhikhola-3 of Syangja.
The shed was buried by a landslide that fell from 100 meters above at 3:30 in the afternoon.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khumlal Bhusal, a team of Police and locals have been searching for the missing persons.
The authorities are preparing to deploy additional police force from the district headquarters for the rescue, according to Bhusal.
Three buffaloes and four goats are missing too.
Landslides, floods and other rain-induced incidents have disrupted lives across the country due to the incessant rain since late Friday.
