One dies in crocodile attack
72-year-old attacked while bathing in Narayani River.

Nawalparasi East
An elderly man died in a crocodile attack in Madhyabindu Municipality of Nawalparasi East district on Monday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel of the Nawalparasi East District Police Office, Min Bahadur Tharu, 72, from Sehari village of Madhyabindu-2, was attacked by a crocodile while bathing in Narayani River.
The crocodile had held him underwater for about one and a half hours.
Police retrieved the body and sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem examination.
Officials from the Chitwan National Park took the crocodile under control.
