Tiger found dead in Nawalparasi (East)

A tiger was found dead in Arunkhola of Nawalparasi (East) on Friday.
The body of the adult male feline was recovered from the Arunkhola forest premises in ward 10 of Madhyabindhu Municipality, said Arjun Sapkota, officer at the Arunkhola Sub Division Forest Office.
The tiger had died a few days ago and the corpse had started to decompose when found by the forest officers.
The reason behind the feline’s death is unknown. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
