Twelve people have been injured in a bus accident in Dhungagadhe of Gorkha Municipality on Wednesday.

The accident occurred after the bus, travelling from Naryangadh to Aarughat, lost control, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Lilaraj Lamichhane.

Two of the seriously injured have been taken to the Chitwan-based Bharatpur Medical College.

They have sustained injuries to their stomach and chest, Gorkha Hospital said.

Other injured are receiving treatment at the Gorkha Hospital.
