An earthquake of 3.9 magnitude was recorded in Lamjung district on Wednesday. Locals said that the earthquake was also felt in Lamjung headquarters in Besi Sahar.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center, the earthquake took place at 7:17 am on Wednesday morning, with Bulbule in the district as its epicentre.
Earlier on January 24, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred in Bajura. Another 6.6 magnitude earthquake in Doti district of Sudurpaschim Province had killed six people on November 9, 2022.
