Two injured as man sets himself on fire in Pokhara

Two persons sustained burn injuries in Pokhara on Sunday afternoon in a suicide attempt.
43-year-old Krishna Bahadur Chhetri, currently living in Pokhara Metropolis-13, was injured after he set himself on fire. Chhetri’s landlord Sangeeta Sapkota was injured while trying to save him.
Police Inspector Subash Timilsina of Kaski District Police Office said they were taken to Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences for treatment. Timilsina said they are yet to know why Chhetri attempted suicide.
