The RSP chair, who was arrested from the party headquarters in Kathmandu on October 18, is currently held at the District Police Office in Kaski.
CIB team arrested former home minister Lamichhane from the RSP’s central office in Kathmandu on October 18 and took him to Pokhara for investigation.
Following an initial six-day remand, RSP chief was held for additional seven, then ten days, before Sunday’s extension.
The area is located at an altitude of 3,283 metres, to the south of Annapurna and Lamjung. Trekkers can see the ruins of an over 1,500 years old village.
The former home minister has already spent five days in custody for investigation into his involvement in cooperative scam, so he will remain in detention for another five days.
