18 injured in Tanahun bus accident

The bus was heading to Baglung from Narayangadh.

At least 18 passengers were injured when a bus met with an accident at Myagde Rural Municipality-6 in Tanahun district on Thursday afternoon.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Yuvaraj Khadka said the bus heading to Baglung from Narayangadh overturned on a roadside canal after the driver lost control of the steering.

All the injured including the driver are receiving treatment at the Belchautara-based GP Koirala National Centre for Respiratory Diseases.

Police said further investigation is underway.
