ANFA to reward footballers with Rs51,000 each

The All Nepal Football Association has decided to reward men’s football team members with Rs 51,000 each for making it to the second round of World Cup qualifiers.
ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang announced the decision to reward the players upon arriving on Wednesday night from Laos.
On Tuesday, Nepal progressed into the second round of the AFC Qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2026 after they defeated Laos 1-0 in the second leg at the New Laos National Stadium in Vientiane for a 2-1 aggregate victory.
Nepal will now face the UAE, Bahrain and Yemen in Group H of the second round. The second-round matches will be played in a home-and-away format between November 2023 and June 2024.
