Hosts KP Oli FC beat Jawalakhel on penalties to enter semi-final
The match winners were decided through spotkick after the regulation 90-minute period finished in 1-1 deadlock.

Hosts KP Oli FC edged Jawalakhel Youth Club 5-4 in a penalty shootout to enter into the semi-final of the KP Oli Cup National Football Championship at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato, on Saturday.
The match winners were decided through spotkick after the regulation 90-minute period finished in 1-1 deadlock.
KP Oli FC, playing with the set team of ‘A’ Division outfits Three Star, will now take on ‘A’ Division League champions, Machhindra FC, in the semi-final on Monday.
Jawalakhel had taken the first half lead through Rahul, two minutes before the interval. But KP Oli FC hit back the equaliser through Nigerian forward Ajayi Martins in the 69th minute, taking the fate of winners to a spotkick battle.
In the spotkick, captain Bikram Lama, making his comeback after more than a year following a knee injury, Aditya Shakya, Ashok Khawas, Loken Limbu and Anil Maharjan all converted penalties.
Jawalakhel’s Lesotho forward Nkoto S Mosoabi was denied by KP Oli FC goalie Purna Chemjong, pouring cold water on their hopes of advancing to the semis. Simant Thapa, Samiraj Thokar, Fode Fofana and Adbulaziz Nishonboev converted their spot kicks.
Tribhuvan Army Club will now be playing against Satdobato in the first semi-final on Sunday.
