The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has appointed Naresh Thapa as the assistant coach of the national men’s team for a friendly against Pakistan.
ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang handed over the appointment letter to Thapa at ANFA Complex on Tuesday.
Earlier, the football governing body had appointed Prabesh Katuwal as the head coach for the friendly match.
The national team is scheduled to play against Pakistan on November 16 at Dasharath Stadium.
Pakistani men’s team is returning to international football after a hiatus of eight years.
