Nepal continued their winning streak in the ACC Women’s U19 Premier Cup 2026 campaign, thrashing Singapore by 151 runs after producing a dominant all-round performance at the YSD UKM Oval in Bangi, Malaysia, on Sunday.
After electing to bat, Nepal piled up 199 without loss in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to an unbroken 199-run opening partnership between Sana Praveen and Sabitri Dhami.
Sana narrowly missed out on a century, remaining unbeaten on 98 from 70 deliveries. She struck 13 fours and anchored the innings from start to finish. Sabitri provided ideal support at the other end, finishing unbeaten on 78 off 53 balls with 13 boundaries as Nepal scored at almost 10 runs an over.
Nepal also benefited from Singapore’s wayward bowling, collecting 23 extras, including 19 wides and three no-balls. None of Singapore’s six bowlers managed to take a wicket, while only Roma Raval kept the scoring relatively in check, conceding 21 runs from her four overs. Zoe Arunima Diwedi Regine gave away 45 runs, while captain Laasya Amrutha Reddy leaked 39 from three overs.
Chasing a daunting target of 200, Singapore never looked capable of mounting a challenge as Nepal’s disciplined bowling attack struck regularly to reduce the batting side to 48 for eight in 20 overs.
Ankitha Varsha Raj top-scored for Singapore with 19 from 49 balls, while Dhwani Prakas contributed eight and captain Reddy made four. Three Singapore batters failed to score as Nepal maintained relentless pressure throughout the innings.
Anu Kadayat was the standout bowler, claiming four wickets for just three runs in her four-over spell, which included a maiden. She removed Pushpa Murali and later cleaned up the lower order to finish with the best figures of the match.
Manisha Upadhayay took two wickets for nine runs, dismissing Anushka Tomar and Jui Rameshwar Surwase in the opening overs to leave Singapore reeling at 7 for three. Riya Sharma also impressed with figures of two for 10, while Sony Pakhrin chipped in with one wicket. Rachana Kumari Chaudhary and Tirsana Bishwokarma bowled economically to ensure the pressure never eased.
Singapore’s biggest partnership was just 20 runs, and the innings unravelled in the closing stages as Nepal claimed four wickets for one run across the final two overs.
Nepal registered a dominating victory over Qatar to begin their campaign on a high note. Nepal defeated Qatar by 105 runs at Bayuemas Cricket Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday.
