Ireland Wolves defeated Nepal-A by 69 runs in their final one-day match, sealing a clean sweep in the three-match series at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Sunday.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Ireland Wolves set a formidable target of 285 runs for the hosts.

With Stephen Doheny’s century, scoring 107 runs off 129 deliveries, and backed by contributions from Peter Moor (44) and Matthew Humphreys (23), Ireland Wolves amassed a total of 284 runs on the scoreboard, losing nine wickets within the allocated 50 overs.

Rijan Dhakal and Ranjit Kumar took three wickets each.

In response, Nepal-A fell short of the target, mustering 215 runs before being bowled out in 39.4 overs.

Arjun Kumal was the standout performer for Nepal-A with a century, scoring 102 runs off 118 balls. However, despite his efforts, Nepal-A couldn’t withstand the disciplined bowling attack from Ireland Wolves, with Ben White being the pick of the bowlers, claiming five wickets. Arjun Saud contributed a valuable 36 runs for Nepal.

Gavin Hoey of Ireland Wolves grabbed four wickets.

The Wolves wrapped up their Nepal tour with a third OD. They also played a three-match T20 series against Nepal's second-string side from March 29 to April 1, which they won 2-1. Before that, the Wolves had played a two-match T20 series against Nepal’s senior men’s cricket.
