Magar ended her four-over spell with three wickets while Kabita Kunwar and Rubina Chhetry also collected two Kuwaiti scalps each.
Nepal reached the quarterfinals on Wednesday after edging the Maldives by a huge margin of 215 runs. The win placed them at the top of Group ‘D’ with three points from three wins in as many matches.
A record ton from Rubina Chhetry had helped the national team post a mammoth 228-run target. In reply, the Maldives were bundled out for a meagre 13 runs in 13.5 overs.
